Portable Stores

Portable Shops is a service that allows individuals and businesses to sell their items to other individuals. As a result we charge fees related to the services we provide to you. All fees are charged in Australian dollars, unless otherwise stated.

The fees are as outlined:

• Basic Account fees are $49.95 per month, sale transactions are charged at 12.5% of the total fee;

• Designer Account fees are $124.95 per month, sale transactions are charged at 7.5% of the total fee. 

• Premium Account fees are $249.95 per month, sales transactions are charged at 4% of the total fee.

Portable Shops may charge for additional services, which are on top of monthly account fees. Any additional services and associated charges must be approved by you before the work commences.

Owners of these accounts are responsible for payment of:

• Any transaction fees initiated by their financial institution or third-party services such as Paypal;

• Any federal, state or local taxes related to their jurisdiction (note that all Australian individuals and businesses registered for GST must make their own GST contributions, and that the fees outlined are inclusive of GST).

All accounts are entitled to a 30-day free trial of the service.

BILLING 

If you initially sign up for an account and you don't cancel that account within 30 days, you will be billed monthly starting on the 30th day after your account was initially created. If you cancel prior to the processing of your first invoice on the 30th day, you will not be charged;

An upgrade from a basic plan to any other paying plan will end your free trial. You will be billed for your first month immediately upon upgrading;

The Service is billed in advance on a monthly basis and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made;

For any upgrade or downgrade in plan level, your credit card that you provided will automatically be charged the new rate on your next billing cycle.

Portable Shops charges your credit card for all services at the end of each month and will provide you an itemised invoice for your records. You will receive an email invoice 7 days prior to any charges being made to your credit card.

DOWNGRADING

Downgrading your Service may cause the loss of Content, features, or capacity of your Account. Portable Shops does not accept any liability for such loss.

Portable Shops may change its store fees at any time. Portable Shops will provide you with 14 days notice of any changes both through your registered Portable Shops account and here.

SHIPPING, REFUNDS AND  RETURNS

All sellers and Portable Shops are responsible for fulfilling their own shipping and returns. Portable Shops claims no liability for any such activities and all liabilities fall onto the individual users for fulfilling their obligations.

Portable Shops may cancel or suspend a user or account if that user is found to be in breach of Portable Shop’s Terms and Conditions.

Portable Shops will only refund transaction fees in the case of technical malfunction of the service. You must report any technical issues related immediately to help@portableshops.com outlining the nature of the problem, the time of the occurrence and relevant evidence, such as screen-grabs or financial statements. Portable Shops will review your request and will only supply a refund if it is satisfied that the issue was related to a technical issue. Any other issues such a return of goods are the responsibly of the user or store.

Portable Shops recommends owners of accounts to outline shop policies for their Portable Shops Store. These policies may include, for example: shipping, returns, payment and selling policies. Sellers must create reasonable policies in good faith and must abide by such policies. All Store policies must comply with Portable Shop’s site-wide policies. Sellers are responsible for enforcing their own reasonable Store policies. Portable Shops reserves the right to request that a seller modify a Store policy.
